This past week, I had the incredible opportunity to lead two workshops as part of Tech Women Week — one virtual session streamed live on YouTube, and one in-person session hosted with Howard Kennedy LLP. Both were focused on one of my favorite topics: building your product with AI — and honestly, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience even tho I have practiced only twice 😂
Thanks gosh I have been working with AI and products for a long time, so no need to practice at all. If you have missed both, this is the recording:
I was doing a research in the beginning to check what people have been using and also what stage they were in their journeys, really interesting how people still go first to chatgpt even to create the product… 🧐
- 42% were in the POC (Proof of Concept) stage,
- 38% were still shaping the idea,
- 17% were working on their MVP,
- and just a small number were in validation or product-market fit.

AI tools are evolving fast — new ones every week, each promising to save time, boost productivity, or unlock creativity. My message during the workshop was simple:
👉 Don’t chase the trend. Start with your goal, then find the AI tool that fits that specific purpose.
Also, another take away important was AI is not flawless and you still need to review security, audit the code before you scale and publish sensitive data !! 🚨 Don’t follow blindly AI generated code.
Then the feedback was just amazing: I even had participants come up to me afterward saying, “This was the best workshop I’ve ever been to.”
No surprise I had really good feedback, but also things to improve, omg ALWAYS about the time ! I need to stop talking so much 😂
Some of my favourite feedbacks:
- “I learned how straightforward it is to build — I was always stuck in ideation, but now I can move forward.”
- “It was very practical and actionable.”
- “Everything!”
Some people wanted a longer session or a few more technical examples — which, honestly, I love hearing because it means they were ready to go deeper. That tells me we’re building the right kind of momentum.
Seeing women confidently using AI to build, ideate, and ship their first products was everything I hoped for ♥️
For the ones that were taking pictures with me after, please send them over, I am a not photo taker and the only picture I took was from the empty reception of the building when I was leaving the building 😂
